So much has changed for the majority of our Collegiate Members in recent months. Thank you for your resilience and tenacity. Undoubtedly, there are questions about how the 2020-2021 academic will run, will you be able to get back to campus, will you be able to hold events in person, how will you complete ceremonies, among other questions. Additionally, we have been made aware of Members that have had family and/or friends impacted by COVID-19 and our thoughts are with you and your loved ones.
Our role as a National Office is to support you, as a Member, and your Chapter. I'd like to commend you for your attentiveness and leadership especially during this unprecedented time. The National Office will be here to give support to you and your Chapter during this time.
We have received questions from Chapters about how operations should continue and also have heard great ideas that Chapters have already implemented! We know that your first priority is adjusting to the quickly revised school structure, and we understand and fully expect that. Next, seeking some semblance of normalcy, by living into our Tripod as best we can, during this unusual time may be helpful.
The National Office has created a Virtual Chapter Operations resource that may work for you and your Chapter. This includes everything from how to be successful as an online student to how to participate in a service project from your home or dorm room. As new resources are found, we will add it to the document. Read through it, discuss it and apply what works best for you and your Chapter. Your resilience is admirable and I just want to say thank you for rising to the challenge.
In addition to the resources provided in the document and in the Resource Center, please watch the communities on CORE for updated information as well and to ask/answer questions.
Now more than ever is the time to be flexible, creative and Brotherly.
If you have any questions, whether it's operations-based or "what's next?," or if you simply wish to have someone to reach out to, feel free to email me at email@example.com or any member of the National Staff as we are all here to support you and your Chapter.
